The Plumbing, Heating and
Cooling Contractors Association of
Southeastern Michigan, Inc., elect-

dent at a recent meeting. Vice-
presidents are E. C. Anderson and
Donald Weisman; treasurer, Her-
man Broder; secretary, Leonard
Pershin; board of directors, Harry
Barsky, John Flashner, Jack Is-
rael, Morrey Katz, Irving Levine,
Irving Moskovitz, Jack Munson
and Dave Muskovitz; and execu-
tive director, Albert Cohen. This
organization, is comprised of more
than 60 plumbing and heating con-
tractors in metropolitan Detroit.

DR. NATHAN TRAININ, of the
Weizmann Institute's experimen-
tal biology department, in Israel,
has returned to Israel from Argen-
tina, where he served at the first
visiting director of the newly es-
tablished Albert Einstein Medical
Research Center. Among the aims
of the Center, which will be lo-
cated at the Jewish Hospital in
Buenos Aires, is cooperation be-

one hand, and those at the Weiz-
mann Institute and other Israeli
research institutions on the other.

Manuel Konigsberg;
Israel Bond Leader

Kalamazoo businessman Manuel
M. Konigsberg, state chairman
for the Israel Bond Organization
since 1959, died in a Houston, Tex.,
clinic. He was 62.
Mr. Konigsberg, who headed the
Michigan delegation to the Inter-
national Israel Bond Conference
in Jerusalem in 1958, was a mem-
ber of Bnai Brith and was active
in Congregation of Moses Syna-
gogue.
Born in Tarnow, Austria, Mr.
Konigsberg lived in Kalamazoo
since 1924. For the past 30 years,
he had owned a metal and struc-
tural aluminum business there.
Surviving are his wife, Bessie; a
brother, Sidney of Houston; and a
sister, Mrs. Simone Brod of Paris.
