Wife of Rabbi Lehrman, she was instru- mental in the affiliation of her sisterhood with the Na t i o n a l Women's League, an organization of Conservative sisterhoods, 18 years ago. She introduced the oneg Shabat program into the sisterhood and served as chairman of this cultural event for 15 years. Mrs. Lehrman introduced the syna- gogue's museum, of which she is curator and to which she is con- tinually adding new objects. She presented a number of outstanding cultural events in sisterhood, has written original scripts for many of these programs and is presently preparing one for the December event. Last May she originated, directed and carried out a Mother's Day Family Dinner in behalf of the Hillel Day School.
