At the Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center in Jeru-
salem, the new nurses' residence, built through the generosity of
Harry and Reva Lindenbaum, is officially opened with the unveiling
of the plaque at the entrance. The Lindenbaums (above) have
named the building in memory of their parents, Lemel and Zivia
Lendenbaum and Johnathan F. and Rucia Duscoff. They came to
Detroit may years ago and always took an interest in the needs
of American and Zionist causes.
David-Horodoker Group Slates Donor Luncheon

the University of Michigan, will be
keynote speaker at "Impact '67,"
the annual Women's Institute to be
held 10 a.m.-2:45 p.m. Nov. 30 at
the Jewish Cen-
ter.
The institute is
sponsored by the
Women's Division
of the Jewish
Welfare Federa-
tion. Mrs. David
J. Schachter is
chairman.
Dr. Paper at-
t e n d e d Yeshiva
Dr. Paper
University in New
York and received his bachelor of
arts degree from the University of
Colorado. He joined the faculty of
the University of Michigan in 1952,
and in 1963 he was named head of
the newly organized department
of linguistics there.
Participating in the morning
discussion groups are Mrs. Julian
Krolik. member of the Mayor's
Commission on Community Rela-
tions; Rev. Robert Potts, chairman
of the Council on Equal Opportun-
ity; Avern Cohn, Detroit attorney
and chairman of the civil rights
committee of the Detroit Bar As-
sociation; and Rev. Hubert Locke,
director of the Office of Religious
Affairs at Wayne St: to University
and former Detroit Police Depart-
ment official.
Mrs. Morris Adler will be a
participant in the "Impact Is-
rael" panels, with Dr. Harry
August, psychiatrist, Rabbi Jacob
E. Segal of Cong. Adas Shalom
and Dr. Joseph Fischhoff, psy-
chiatrist.
Chairmen of the "conversation"
groups are Mesdames Philip R.
Marcuse, Ben Schottenfels Jr.,
Louis G. Redstone, Everett Straus,
George M. Stutz, Louis Berry, Nor-
man Naimark and Milton Lucow.
Registration will be at 9:30 a.m.
