ADAS SHALOM SISTERHOOD
Will celebrate its 22nd anniversary
With a birthday-membership party
noon Monday at the synagogue.
Mrs. Joseph Katchke, president,
and Mrs. William Zimmerman,
membership vice president, say
that plans are being completed for
a celebration for sisterhood's paid-
up members. New members will
be honored. The program will fea-
ture a drama, "Something Is Mis-
sing," written by Mrs. S. Teplitz of
National Women's League, United
Synagogue of America, and direct-
ed by Mrs. J. Stewart Linden. The
cast includes Mesdames Jacob
Axelrod, Morris Botwin, Samuel
Kaner, Sheldon Schwartz. The Na-
tional Anthems will be led by Mrs.
Jacob Axelrod accompanied by
Mrs. George Bassin. Mrs. Robert
Dunsky will present the invoca-
tion, and Mrs. Tzvi Berkal will
lead the Birkat Hamazon. Mrs.

Baruch Ulrych is lucheon chair-
man; Mrs. Sidney Schwartz, hos-

tess chairman; Mrs. Nathan Star-
man, decorations; and Mrs. Harry
Markovitz, book and gift shop;
Mrs. Barney Golden, financial sec-
retary, will accommodate members
who wish to pay their dues at the
door.

EVERGREEN and LIVONIA
Groups, lladassah will hold a joint
meeting 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at
Radassah House. A columnist for
Free Press Action Line will discuss
the column and show slides. Guests
are welcome. Refreshments will be

Women, will hold its champagne
dinner at the Whitehall Apartment
Club House, Southfield, 9 p.m.
Saturday. Chairman for the evening

stein, Leslie Krakovitz, Benno Levi
and Abe Selesny. Skip Rosenthal
