With a fund-raising goal of $75,-;

She now lives in the village of
Shafa-Amer, near Nazareth, with
her husband, a teacher in the gov-
ernment school in that community,
and two small children. Her mother
cares for the children, a boy 7 and
a girl 3vz, while she works.
Mrs. Karkabi is in the United
States for a month as a "shliha,"
an emissary from Israel. She will
be appearing and speaking to
Pioneer Women's groups as well as
many other community organiza-
tions throughout the United States
during that time.
Pioneer Women, in conjunction
with Moetzet Hapoalot, supports
almost half of all the social ser-
vices to the women and children
in Israel, and maintains a network
of over 1,000 child care and immi-
grant rehabilitation centers.
A dessert tea will be served.
