Groups Fight Bias in Radio Station PHILADELPHIA (JTA) — The Federal Communications Commis- sion is conducting public hearings here on the license renewal appli- cation of a suburban radio station that is accused by 19 civic and re- ligious groups of being a forum for anti-Semitic, anti-Negro and anti- Catholic broadcasts. Philadelphia Council of Churches and the Anti-Defamation League of Bnai Brith. Jerome Bakst, direc- tor of research and evaluation of the ADL, characterized McIntire's 30-minute radio show, called "The 20th Century Reformation Hour," as a religious program with an extremely right-wing viewpoint."
