Return Showing for 'Gone With Wind'

Rhett Butler and Scarlet O'Hara
will get a special welcome back
to Greater Detroit area scene when
"Gone With The Wind" whirls in
view again at the Madison Theater,
Wednesday. Planning the opening
night festivities, to herald the re-
turn of "Gone With The Wind"
is a benefit premiere committee
raising monies for Northwood In-
stitute.
Highlights of the festivties start-
ing at 7:15 p.m. in front of the
Madison Theater, at Grand Circus
Park on Wednesday, will be the
Hollywood type flood lights, red
carpet and a pretty miss, selected
by Nothwood Institute students,

representing Scarlett O'Hara,
dressed in appropriate costume.
Adding a real touch of the Civil
War period of the filming will be
participants from the 21st Michi-
gan Volunteer Infantry, equipped
with .58 calibre Remington Zouave
1863 model (Repro) rifles and
bayonets, in full uniform, with
Civil War flag and guidon. The
Civil War unit from Port Huron,
the Blue Water Drum & Rifle
Corps, along with its auxiliary,
dressed in authentic Civil War cos-
tumes, will perform. The Loomis
Battery will signal the opening of
"Gone With The Wind," acclaimed
the greatest motion picture ever.
