scious" of the geographic and
demographic problems arising out
of the acquisition of new terri-
tories; second, that Israel "desires
security and durable peace"; and,
third, that Israel is "conscious of
her new role" in the Middle East
and will not easily yield to any
pressure which does not entail
lasting peace and security."
