Detroit, South Oakland County Chapters sof Hadassah to Merge Mrs.. Jack W. .Perlman, Detroit Ch a p t e r president, and Mrs. Charles Snider, South Oakland County Chapter president, an- nounce that by May 1968, the two chapters will be merged into a combined membership of some 7,000 women, creating one of the largest chapters in the United States. In recognition of 'Hadassah's current membership enrollment campaign, Mayor Jerome Cava- nagh issued a proclamation in praise of the accomplishments of Hadassah and designated Septem- ber "II-Month."
