Bristol, Birmingham. Mrs. Lely-
veld, wife of the Cleveland rabbi
who is president of AJCongress,
will accompany her husband to De-
troit where he will deliver an ad-
dress at Temple Israel that even-
ing. Rabbi and Mrs. Lelyveld`fe-
cently returned from a trip to Is-
rael, where he participated in a
study mission for the American
Jewish Congress. Mrs. Aaron Shif-
man is president of the women's
division.

TIONAL WOMEN'S COMMITTEE,
invites the public to its first fall
meeting 1 p.m. Tuesday at Temple
Emanu-El to hear a panel discus-
sion on "Rebellion from Old Stan-
dards." There is no admission fee.
Preceding the program, a subscrip-
tion luncheon wil be served at noon.
For prospective, new and paid-up
members, this amount will be ap-
plied toward dues, advises Mrs.
Max Warren, membership chair-
man. Panel discussants are Dr.
Herbert A. Raskin; president of the
Michigan Society of.Neurology and
Psychiatry, who will discuss "Is
Drugs a Tool of Rebellion by Our
Youth?";' Rabbi M. Robert Syme of
Temple Israel, who will explore
"Is Religion Still Meaningful to Our
Youth "; and Mrs. Nancy Boykin,
director of continuing education
for the Detroit Public Schools, who
will speak on 'The Adolescent Con-
flict Among Unwed Mothers." Mod-
erator will be Dr. Robert S. Drews,
former president of the Michigan
Chapter and national president of
the American Society for Group
Psychotherapy and Psychodrama.

GUILD will hold its open fall
luncheon meeting noon Sept. 22 in
the main lecture hall of the hospi-
tal. Dr. Joseph C. Monet, chief of
the division of rehabilitation medi-
cine at Sinai and associate profes-
sor of rehabilitation medicine at
Wayne State University School of
Medicine, will be featured speaker.
Dr. Hornet's topic, "Energy. Facet
of Rehabilitation Medicine," will
emphasize how a wife, mother or
volunteer can aide in restoring the
potential of a patient. Mrs. Sidney
J. Allen is program chairman, and
Mrs. Sidney Winer is vice president

seeking to publicize its Oct. 22-23
antique show, will cosponsor a
poster contest with the Detroit
Department of Parks and Recrea-
tion 3 p.m. Sunday at the new
Southfield Montgomery Ward store.
Children age 11-17 are eligible to
enter. In conjunction with the cen-
ter's opening at Telegraph and 12
Mile Rds., the contest will have as
first prize a $25 gift certificate.
Other prizes will be awarded.
Judges are Barbara Tait of the
parks and recreation department,
Mrs. Leo Gaspas, sisterhood vice
president of ways and means, and
Sam Field, portrait artist. The pub-
lic is invited. The antique show,
called "Antiquity Village," will be
