Bonn to Compensate Salonika Jews for Losses LONDON, (JTA)—The West Ger- man government has agreed to pay 5,000,000 marks ($1,250,000) in com- pensation to Greek Jews in Solon- ika for material losses suffered during the Nazi occupation, Joseph Lovinger, newly elected president of the Central Board of Jewish Communities in Greece, revealed.
