ISRAEL EMERGENCY CAMPAIGN

* We all know of the great miracles that recently took place
in Israel.
* We Jews know the true answer to the world's amazement
at our astounding victory, that G-d's help was the only
"Secret Weapon" that brought us this victory.
* We have all witnessed the great upsurge of spiritual
revival that has engulfed Jews the world over.

DEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS!

We have all given expression to our sentiments through unprecendented
acts of TZEDAKAH (charity).

Let us now give vent to our feelings towards G-d also
through TSUVAH (return).

Let us now express our sincere gratitude to him through TFILLA (prayer).

At this auspicious moment of spiritual reawakening a world wide
Tefillin Campaign has been organized.

... FROM THE HOLY LAND—At the Kotel Maaravi, the Wailing
wall, where a Tefillin stand is in operation all day extending to
trains and busses throughout the country ...

. . . AROUND THE GLOBE—From Australia to England, in the
spirit of the Lubavitcher slogan, "Uforatzta—and you shall spread
forth westward, eastward, northward, and southward" (Genesis
28:14) ...

... IN HOSPITALS, INSTITUTIONS, SHOPPING CENTERS, AND
PARKS — The clarion call is heard: "Identify yourself with Juda-
ism through the observance of Mitzvah (precepts) beginning by
the precept of Tefillin !"

In the forthcoming weeks preceding Rosh Hashana, Detroit Chabad
organization will organize a "TEFILLIN CAMPAIGN". Tefillin
booths will be set up at various points in the city and visits will be
made to hospitals, institutions and individuals to enable them to
learn about the precept and actually fulfill the mitzvah of Tefillin.
This will of course be in the nature of a public service without fee.
