Relatives and friends are asked to at- tend. ° ft Morris Margulies, Former National Secretary of ZOA, Dies at Age 79 QUEENS — Morris Margulies, of Forest Hills, pioneer Ameri- can Zionist, died Aug. 17. He was 79. He is survived by two brothers. National secretary of the Zionist Organization of America from 1932 to 1942, Mr. Margulies was a lifelong Zionist who shared in many national activities and was known as an organizer with di- rectional ability. In 1902 he organized the Nordau Zionist Society whose membership included some of the most promi- nent American Zionists. He was engaged in fund-raising and was among the first members of the board of directors of the Keren Hayesod in 1921. He held many national positions after re- tiring as ZOA national secretary. His most recent activity was the voluntary supervision of the functions of Brit Rishonim, the organization of Zionists who have been affiliated with the Zionist Organization for 25 years and more. He arranged many programs for this group and the addresses at its public meetings have been published. During the Israel War of BENJAMIN G. BLOOM, 20171 Wakefield, died Aug. 22.
