Israelis Needled

TEL AVIV - Israeli civilians

have been banned bymilitary
authorities from visiting the Gaza
Strip because scuffles broke out
over miniskirts.
The authorities said Israeli sol-
diers were indignant because some
young Arabs were getting fresh
with the short-skirted Israeli girl
shoppers.

Zim Lines announced that it will
consolidate all passenger sales ac-
' tivities in the New York area at
the company's American headquar-
ters at 42 Broadway. New York
City.
This took effect July 28 when the
Zim Lines' midtown ticket office at
580 Fifth Ave. was closed. accord-
ing to Avner Manor, executive vice
president of the American-Israeli
Shipping Co., Inc., U. S. representa-
tives of the Zim Lines.
Manor said that all inquiries
from travel agents and the public
concerning the S/S Shalom's sum-
mer and fall cruise program and
other Zim Lines' passenger serv-
ices should be directed to the main
office at 42 Broadway. The Shalom
is currently making a series of
cruises from New York to Montreal
where she serves as hotel for two
or more days while her passengers
visit Expo '67. The liner is sched-
; uled to sail from New York Aug.
8, Aug. 18, Aug. 28. Sept. 8, Sept.
19 and Sept. 30. All cruises are of
10 days' duration except the last
which is an 11-day Rosh Hashana
cruise.
The Zim Lines maintain weekly
sailings between Marseilles, Na-
ples. Piraeus and Israel with the
line SS Theodor Herzl and MS
