The workshop, the 14th to be
held at U. of D. annually, seeks
to provide techniques, attitudes,
and points of view which will
lead to solutions of social issues
in intergroup relations.
Dr. Norman Drachler, superin-
tendent of Detroit Public Schools,
was presented with the Human
Relations Award for his "lifelong
dedication to the sinews of a good

Fought Yellow Fever
Jewish Meals
By ROSALIND S. ZUNSER
(Copyright, 1967, JTA, Inc.)
The observant reader must have
noticed how often my column is de-
voted to recipes for soups. The
ample justification for this is the
stout belief of many Jewish house-
wives that no dinner is complete ,
without a good nourishing soup. For
today's column we have chosen '
two: one traditional and ever-popu-
lar; and the other less popular but,
tasty and rewarding: potato and
leek.
Joseph Bensadon, 19th Century
American Jewish physician. was
one of the early pioneers in the
fight against the ravages of yellow
fever.
Noted Opthalmoloist
Charles Henry May. an Ameri-
can Jewish physician who prac-
ticed in the latter part of the 19th
Century, was a pioneer in the field
of opthalmology.
