either with the Protestant search
for unity or with the Vatican Coun-
cil and Pope John XXIII. "The
Ecumenical Revolution," by Rob-
ert McAfee Brown and published
by Doubleday, tells both these
stories, describing how new move-
ments within both Protestantism
and Catholicism have altered the
climate of contemporary Chris-
tianity from — in the author's
words — "diatribe to dialogue."
In "The Ecumenical Revolu-
tion," Dr. Brown discusses the
meaning of "ecumenism" and the
enlargement of the dialogue to in-
clude the Jews and the Jewish
responses. He caps his book with
a survey of the present efforts to
consolidate common worship which
is carried out by Protestants and
Catholics in full awareness of "the
differences we share."
Included with the book is a chart
which shows the continuing Church
reformation and the enlargement
of the dialogue between various
religious sects. It underlines
Brown's thesis that Protestant,
Catholic and Jew share differ-
ences.

"Little Hitler" Invitation

NEW YORK (ZINS)—That Ga-
mal Nasser has been a good pupil
of Hitler's teachingnt is shown by
the similarity of their statements.
Hitler: "To the attention of the
world — Danzig is a German city
and will remain a German city"
(August 1, 1938), Nasser: "There
can be no talk about permitting
Israel free navigation through the
Strait of Tiran. Tiran belongs to
Egypt." (May 22, 1967). Hitler:

"If the Jews will drag the world
into a war, then world Jewry will

be exterminated" (May 21, 1939).
Nasser: "If Israel wants war, Is-
rael will be exterminated" (May
26, 1967),
