ZIM Adds 2 Shalom
Cruises to Expo '67

Zim Lines announced that the
S/S Shalom will make two more
cruises from New York to Mont-
real, Sept. 19 and Sept. 30, in addi-
tion to the seven Expo cruises al-

duration and the Sept. 30 cruise,

"immensely popular" and that the
ship is heavily booked through the

The Sept. 30 Rosh Hashana
cruise will offer the last oppor-
tunity to cruise to Canada's Cen-
tennial Exposition which closes at
the end of October, Manor stated.
On this cruise the Shalom will
spend four days at Montreal dur-
ing the holiday period and syna-
gogue services will be conducted
aboard ship for passengers.

Feinberg's Collection
of Judaic Art Objects

"Judaic Ritual Art," a new
series, will be presented on "High-
lights," Sundays 9:45 a.m. on Chan-
nel 2 and 9:15 .a.m. on WJBK
radio. Charles Feinberg, collector
of rare Judaic art objects, host of
this series, brings with him articles
from his private collection.
His first program, "The Sab-
bath," is a view of his collection
of candle sticks and wine cups
from various periods as well as
Havdala articles, with which the
farewell of the Sabbath is de-
picted.
Feinberg, born in London, is, in
addition to being a collector, pre-
sident of the Detroit Association
of Phi Beta Kappa, chairman of
the Jewish Committee on Scouting
in the Detroit area, director of
Friends of Detroit Public Library,
director of Archives of American
Art and on the board of advisors
of the Wayne State University
Press. He has received awards
from the United States Information
Agency and the Walt Whitman
Foundation of Brooklyn College.

BONN (ZINS)—Latest returns
show that there are about 70 Jew-
ish communities with 26,100 regis-
tered members in West Germany.
They worship in 45 synagogues and
48 prayer rooms and there are 15
rabbis and 38 cantors. A total of
1,024 children, aged between 6
and 13, and 656 young people re-
ceived religious instruction from
64 teachers.
