Detroit Bnai Brith Hosts District 6 Convention The Metropolitan Detroit Bnai Brith Council and the Bnai Brith Women's Council will be hosts to j delegates of District Grand Lodge No. 6 and Bnai Brith Women's District 6, at the annual conven- tion June 25-28 at the Sheraton- Cadillac Hotel. Members of the lodge, their fam- ilies and friends are invited. The officers installed at this meeting will be serving during the lodge's 110th year. Pisgah Lodge was founded November 24, 1857 and is the second oldest Jewish organization in Michigan. Milton M. Weinstein is chairman of the committee on arrangements and will be master of ceremonies of the installation program. Rabbi Seymour Panitz will deliver the in- vocation. Alfred H. Bounin will light the Menorah exemplifying the teachings of Bnai Brith. Meyer W. Leib will discharge the outgoing officers and install the incoming officers. Syme also has studied with Mischa Kottler in Detroit and with Dr. Reid Nib- ley this past year at the Univer- sity of Michigan. He plans to enter the Juilliard School of Music this fall.
