The increase is 1-2 per cent. A campaign wind-up is under way to obtain the $40,000 in pledges still outstanding. The Flint council's board of gov- ernors approved this year a special allocation of $500 to the Jewish Theological Seminary for its emer- gency fund to restore library vol- umes damaged in the fire. The council continues to send $2,500 annually to the Detroit Jew- ish Home for Aged, thereby enab- ling its aged residents to be eligi- ble for admission to the home on the same basis as Detroit resi- dents.
