BOSTON 1.1TA)-11-he Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston announced a final figure of $5.503,194 in its 1907 appeal at a campaign closing dinner night. Mortimer Weiss, general campaign chairman, noted that this year's total—a substantial increase over the amount raised last year--.as cne of the highest fund-raising re- sults in recent years.
