It is always delightful to attend
any of the avant-gard studio the-
- aters for the feeling of intimacy
and comfort while enjoying the
movies. It is strange but amusing
to be able to hear and almost
understand the British actors with-
out anyone munching on chips and
popcorn. We remember years back
I going to the old Regent theater on
Woodward and the Blvd. seeing
movies and vaudeville while
munching on salami sandwiches
and peeling oranges we packed in
a shoe box.
