for Dr. Glazer
to Be Dedicated

The Benedict Glazer Elementary
School will hold its official dedi-
cation 7:30 p.m. Monday at 2000

opened for 896 students last fall,
was named for Dr, B. Benedict
Glazer, rabbi of Temple Beth El,
educator and community leader
from 1941 until his death in 1952.
Dr. Glazer, a founder of the

Dale have been appointed co-chair-
men of the 1967 state convention of
the Department of Michigan Jewish
War Veterans and its Ladies Aux-
iliary. The appointments were an-
nounced by Commander Jack Ber-
man and President Mrs. William
Love.
Convention dates are June 2-4,
and headquarters will be the new
Holiday Inn on Telegraph Rd.
A banquet June 3 will honor
Commander Berman.

of Nazi Criminal Stang!

Secretary of State Dean Rusk
was asked today by National Com-
mander Malcolm A. Tarlov of the
Jewish War Veterans of the U.S.A.
to intercede with Brazil to seek
the extradition of Nazi war crim-
inal Franz Stangl to one of the
European nations seeking to bring
him to trial.
