ing the arrival of the supplies, the congregation expressed its grati-
tude to Canadian Jewry for helping Cuban Jews have a kosher
Passover.
This year, the CJC sent to Havana 8.000 pounds of matzo, 3,000
pounds of matzo meal, 1,400 bottles of wine, about 1,000 gallons of
Passover oil, 6,000 cans of meat loaf, 250 pounds of tea and 500
pounds of horseradish.
