folk, died May 2. She leaves a son,
Ben; five daughters, Mrs. Harry
(Bessie). Gilman, Mrs. Bernard

Dr. H. Tanner, 68;
Dentist 37 Years

Dr. Harry Tanner, a Detroit den-
tist for 37 years, with offices at
10040 Puritan, died April 27 at age
68.
Dr. Tanner, 8503 Marygrove, was
born in Hungary and lived in this
city for 43 years. He had honorary
life membership in the American
Dental Society, Detroit chapter;
and he was a member of the Zion-
ist Organization of Detroit and
Pisgah Lodge, Bnai Brith. Dr.
Tanner was a graduate of the Uni-
versity of Michigan Dental School.
Survivors are his wife, Helen; a
son, Paul Joseph; a daughter,
Judith Margaret; and two brothers,
Albert and Frank.

Esther Einstandig

Esther Einstandig, a member of
Shaarey Zedek and its sisterhood,
Hadassah and American Jewish
Congress, died Tuesday at age 60.
Mrs. Einstandig, 13339 Vernon,
Huntington Woods, was a native
of Windsor and lived in Detroit
the past 50 years.
Survivors are her husband,
Philip; a son, Milton; a daughter,
Mrs. Richard (Craina) Knoll; two
brothers, Albert and Nathan Goff;
two sisters, Mrs. Sam (Ida) Wag-
ner and Mrs. William (Doris) Su-
rath of Bay City; and two grand-
children.
