Mar- shall, military analyst and author, will be special guests at the dinner for members of the Israel Bond Honor Societies 6 p.m. May 21 in the Casino Room at the Sheraton- Cadillac Hotel. The dinner will be hosted by five leaders of the De- troit Israel Bond Women's Divi- sion; Mesdames Morris L. Schaver, Women's Divi- sion chairman; Norman Allan, trustee chairman; David Pollack, sponsor chai r- man; Sidney Schwartz, builder chairman; a n d Max Stollman, honorary chair- man. Gen. Marshall, author of "Sinai Victory" and the recent "Battle in Gen. Marshall the Monsoon," will introduce Col. Karni. Col. Karni, who served as com- pany commander during Israel's War of Liberation, will "pin" the paid members of the honor socie- ties of trustees, founders, builders and sponsors of Israel. Col. Karni was twice wounded and by the end of the war was in command of an infantry battalion. He has served as operations officer of the general staff of the Israel Defense Forces and as first secretary of Israel's delegation to the United Nations. Reduced 56,500,000 Budget Presented to WIZO Executive TEL AVIV (JTA)—A balanced budget of 19,500,000 Israeli pounds ($6,500,000) was presented to the world executive of the Women's International Zionist Organization for the fiscal year 1967-68.
