The announcement was made by Dr. Sol Stein, director general of the annual Histadrut Campaign in the United States. Becker, who is coming to the United States to attend the Washington banquet at which the Histadrut Humanitarian Award will be presented to Vice President Hubert Humphrey on May 8, also will address the AFL- CIO meeting. Some 1,000 guests are expected at the $50-a-plate May 8 dinner.
