The accompanying illustrations are taken from a famous Hagada. The upper photo shows a page from the illuminated Hagada of the 15th Century—the so-called "Second Nuremberg Hagada"—showing Moses unfolding the Sefer Tora. On the right, Moses is shown in prayer on Sinai. The photo also shows Moses removing Pharaoh's crown.
