Israel IncreaSes Exports
of Bananas and Avocados
JERUSALEM (ZINS) —A total
of 2.719 tons of bananas were ex-
ported in February this year as
compared with' 2,100 tons in the
same month last year, 1966. There
were also sold overseas 280 tons
of avocado last February as corn-
pared with 130 tons in the same
month last year. Most of the
banana exports went to Spain.'
Yugoslavia and Italy. The princi-
. pal buyers of avocados were Eng-
land. France and Germany.
