BUENOS AIRES (JTA) — The importance of unification of the "diverse parts" of the Jewish people to help end differences be- tween Jews and Zionists as well as differences internationally among the Zionist parties was stressed Tuesday by Herzl Gesang, chairman of the Latin American Confederation of General Zionists. Speaking at a convention of the Argentine General Zionists, he said such unification was essential to preventing Israeli party prob- lems from affecting Jewish life outside of Israel. However, he pro- jected Israel as a spiritual center for all Jews. The delegates elected Oscar Glaserman as chairman of the Agentine General Zionists.
