PLACE D'ENCORE is an after-
theater type room in the Hotel
Pontchartrain and features what
is undoubtedly one of Detroit's
finest late-hour kitchens . . . open
until 4 a.m. . . . Quite naturally,
because many entertainers stay at
the Pontchartrain, and because of
the late stay-open hour, it has be-

CHARM BRACELET itemed in
column recently as lost at Darbys,
and found through the mention,
brings letter of thanks from
Donna Wexler . .. "My daughter,
Erica (3 1/s years old) wanted to
wear it that day so I pinned some
links together with a safety pin
thinking it was tight enough and
would not slip off. I never would
have known where it was lost if
I hadn't read your column in the
paper. My mother bought me the
charm for Mother's Day a month
after Erica was born and my
sister gave me the heart locket
when I graduated junior high
school. So they are, indeed, pre-
cious keepsakes. Thank you very
much."

BILL KENNEDY,- CKLW-TV
personality, just drinks coffee now,
but it doesn't stint his good-time
attitude . . . Recently at Del-
Monico's, after the premier of
"Hawaii," Bill grabbed us as we
walked in, and flinging his arms
wide in Hollywood style gave our
name a new ring to the rhythms
of Frank Kallao's Continentals
. . . Bill and his party had such
a goad time at Del-Monico's, that
he's adopted it as his unofficial
place to go before and after all
premiers downtown.

FOR THOSE WHO like to make

dressing, Onions, finely chopped,
Chives, Parsley, Hard-cooked egg,

and meat dishes . . . Other herb
flavors may be added according
