Beverly Goldstein, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Goldstein,
of Northgate Blvd., Oak Park, be-
came the bride of Arnold L. Lan-
tor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Morris
Lantor, of Rosemary Ave., Oak
Park, in a recent ceremony at
Cong. Bnai David. Rabbi Hayim
Donin and Cantor Hyman Adler
officiated. -
The bride chose a wedding gown
of silk taffeta appliqued with Alen-
con lace and highlighted with a
scoop neckline and short sleeves of
lace adorned with seed pearls'.
The semi-fitted front skirt with side
and back gathered fullness ended
in a court train. Her Frence illu-
sion fingertip veil was held in place
by a shell cap of Alencon lace and
pearl to match her gown. She car-
ried orchids covering her confirma-
tion Bible.

Serving her sister as matron of
honor was Mrs. Joel Schneider
of Easton, Pa. Bridesmaids were
Mrs. Thomas Fleischer and Mrs.
Franklin Kasle. Carol Lynn
Schneider of Easton was flower
girl.

Nominating committee recommen-
dations for all Jewish Community
Council offices and executive com-
mittee vacancies will be presented
at the next Council Delegate As-
sembly 8:30 p.m. March 16, at the
Jewish Center.
Preliminary notice of the meet-
ing was sent to officers and dele-
gates of affiliated organizations by
Council President Dr. Samuel
Krohn.

With stress being placed on the
need for Western immigration to
Israel at meetings of the Jewish
Agency in Israel, Shmuel Werz-
berger, director of the Israel
Aliya Center in the Midwest, will
meet with persons interested in
aliya to Israel at the Labor Zion-
ist Institute Tuesday and Wednes-
day.

Werzberger reports that direc-
tives from Israel emphasize the
need for services of teachers,
physicians, nurses, psychologists
and social workers. Many posi-
tions are available with attrac-
tive terms offered, including
grants for the cost of transporta-
tion to candidates and their
families who are employed for
a three-year period.
