Fashion Week approaches, Tel
Aviv is ready to welcome more
than 500 overseas buyers and other
fashion professionals.
In 1966, more than $4,000,000
in orders were placed by buyers
from 17 countries, including many
from the United States. Fashion
Week, highlight of the many ac-
tivities undertaken by the Fash-
ion Center of the Israel Export
Institute, is under the auspices of
the ministry of commerce and
industry.
On three floors and in the ball-
room of the Tel Aviv Hilton, more
than 60 of Israel's foremost manu-

HYDROX
CREME SANDWICH

Veal and Chicken Stew
1 tablespoon fat
3 onions sliced
3 green peppers sliced
1 clove garlic minced

lb. mushrooms sliced (optional)

1 lb. veal cubed
1 small chicken cut into eighths
1 teaspoon salt
1 /4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
_ Melt fat, saute onions, peppers and

gently until tender. Add water if nec-
essary.
Egg Rolls
2 eggs well beaten
1/2 cup water
1 /2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sifted flour
oil or fat for frying
Beat eggs reserve 1/4 cup of beaten
egg in a saucer for binding egg rolls.
Mix remaining eggs with 1 /2 cup water
and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Beat well gradu-
ally adding 1/2 cup flour while beating.
When smooth, heat 1 teaspoon oil or
fat in a six inch skillet. When hot
pour in enough batter to cover bot-
tom of pan with a thin layer of the
liquid. Cook one side until set. Remove
by turning pan upside down on a
flat surface to cool. Repeat until all
batter is used. Mix filling altogether
and place one heaping tablespoon of
filling on each pancake. Roll pancake
over Cling, fold in edges and close
roll with a little beaten egg left over
to make edges stick together. Place in
refrigrator for at least one hour. Beat
enough fat or oil in a large skillet to
have about two inches of fat in skillet,
drop in egg rolls fry until brown. Turn
and brown on other side. Drain on ab-
sorbent paper. Serve immediately with
strong mustard.

2 tablespoons grated carrot
2 tablespoons celery sliced thin
1 tablespoon green onion sliced thin
1/2 cup cooked chicken chopped
1/2 cup cooked veal, chopped
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons melted fat or oil
