Each filled bank will buy medica- tion to prevent blindness in one eye of an Israeli child. For several years, the Detroit . Chapter has engaged in this spe- cial project to supply medication and emergency medical needs for children and adults afflicted with trachoma or other blinding afflic- tions under treatment by the oph- thalmological department of the Hadassah-Hebrew University Medi- cal Center. The culminating event of the Eye Bank campaign will be an evening 'celebration March 14...
