MRS. MARTIN GOLDMAN

In an evening ceremony at Tem-
ple Israel, Suzanne Brodsky,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry
N. Brodsky of Canterbury Rd.,
became the bride of Martin Robert
Goldman, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Seymour B. Goldman of Lincoln
Dr., Huntington Woods.
Rabbis Jacob Segal and M. Rob-
ert Syme officiated.
The bride wore an Empire, A-line
skimmer gown of imported worsted
silk covered with seed pearls and
embroidery. Styled with a Sabrina
neckline and three-quarter-length
sleeves, the gown was matched
by a jeweled toque holding the
floor-length cage veil of imported
illusion. She carried her confirma-
tion Bible.

Matron of honor was Mrs. Ber-
nard Brodsky, and maid of hon-
or was Leslie Kanes. Lynda
Brodsky, Annette Brodsky, Ann
Brodsky and Ann Weintrob were
bridesmaids and Sheilah Brodsky
was flower girl.

Sheldon Arthur Goldman was his
brother's best man, and ushers
were Bernard and Stuart Brodsy,
brothers of the bride, Dr. Gerald
Halbert of Toronto, Dr. Robert
Fisher of California, David B.
Hermelin, Ronald B. Charfoos,
Gilbert E. Metry, Marshall Cohen
and Alvin Spector.
Following an Acapulco honey-
moon, the newlyweds are living in
Oak Park.

Noreen Rachel Kaufman, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. David Kauf-
man of Independence Dr., South-
field, became the bride of Sanford
Maynard Seskin in an evening
ceremony at Beth Aaron Syna-
gogue. Rabbi Benjamin Gorrelick
officiated.
The bridegroom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Seskin of Onyx
Dr., Southfield.

Rabbi Irwin Groner officiated
Sunday evening at the wedding of
Francine Sheila Kamin and Ed-
ward David Gold at Cong. Shaa-
rey Zedek. Cantor Jacob Sonen-
klar chanted the prayers.
The bride is the daughter of
Mrs. Louis E. Kamin ofOxley Rd.,
Southfield, and the late Dr. Kamin.
Mr. Gold is the son of Mr. and
Mrs: Morris Gold of Northgate
Blvd., Oak Park.
Joseph Horwitz, uncle of the
bride, gave her in marriage.

An Empire-waist gown was
chosen by the bride. Chantilly
lace and baby seed pearls ac-
cented the peau de soie and
satin gown, and she carried_ .a
cascade of roses with an orchid.

She wore an Empire princess
gown of ivory silk peau de soie
accented with garland of French
jeweled Alencon lace on the
bodice and skirt. A matching lace
flounce edged the elbow-length
sleeves, and the controlled A-line
skirt swept into a chapel-length
train. Her open circlet of the
matching jeweled lace held the
tiered veil of imported silk illu-
sion. She carried her consecra-
tion Bible cover ed with a cas-
cading bouquet of orchids and
Stephanotis.
Mrs. Kalman Gold of Toledo

Myra Sue Seskin, sister of the
bridegroom, served as maid of
honor, and Mrs. Joan Bloch was
matron of honor. Bridesmaids
were Claudia Ripply, Marsha Peltz
and Elma Emili.
Paul Goldsmith served as best
man, and Gary Feldman, Alan
Feldman and Mark Kaufman, the
bride's brother, were ushers.
Judy Peiss was flower girl, and
Stuart Kaufman, the bride's broth-
er, was ring bearer.
Following a Puerto Rico honey-
moon,,the couple will live in South- served as matron of honor. Brides-
maids included Carol Burns, Cyn-
field.

Marks. Junior bridesmaids were
Susan Gold of Toledo and Sandra
Feldman.
The bridegroom's brother, Dr.
Kalman Gold served as best man.
Ushers included Raymond Tach-
man, Blair Kamin, brother of the
bride, Albert Conn, Larry Faigin
of Cleveland and Harvey Jacobs
of Washington, D. C. Brian Gold
of Toledo served as junior usher.
Following a Nassau honeymoon,
the couple will reside in Royal
Oak.

by Susan Benson and Melvyn
Mark Friedman, children of Mr.
and Mrs. Morton Benson of Coyle
Ave. and Mr. and Mrs. Max Fried-
man of Northgate Blvd., Oak
Park.
Miss Benson is a graduate of
Wayne State University's College
of education and past president of
Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority. Her
fiance, a graduate of the Univer-
sity of Michigan, is affiliated with
Lamba Omicron Gamma Fratern-
ity at the College of Osteopathic
Medicine and Surgery in Des
Moines.

ROME (JTA) — Bruno Pitter-
man, vice chancellor of Austria,
said at the close of the Socialist
International conference, that the
pledge of support for Israel's ef-
forts for an associate status with
the European Economic Com-
munity by the Socialist parties of
Europe had been reaffirmed at
the conference.
Mrs. Golda Meir, secretary of
Israel's Mapai Party, said at a
press conference that she was
satisfied with the • results of the
meeting but gave no details on her
contributions to the conference.
Dr. Pitterman said that Mrs.
Meir had reported on Israel's
economic situation particularly in
connection with Israel's efforts
for a more comprehensive agree-
ment with the six-nation European
Common Market. Israel's present
limited agreement expires on
