The figures showed that there are in Canada, this year, an esti- mated 34.780 children. aged 5-12, on the elementary school level, and 35.490 Jewish teen-agers. The 1966 figures in this study were proj- ected from the official 1961 census data. The data showed that there was a 12.7 per cent drop in 1966 in the Jewish elementary school age pop- - Eshkol: Economic Woes Not a Crisis, Only a 'Test' JERUSALEM (.JTA) — Premier Levi Eshkol Tuesday reiterated that Israel's current economic problems were not a crisis but an economic test. lie expressed belief that Israel would meet the test.
