Co-chairmen of the new com-

Ecumenical Commission, and Rabbi
Israel Mowshowitz, chairman of
the ADL Interreligious Coopera-
tion Committee. The new unit,
comprised of 24 clergymen, educa-
tors, lawyers and jurists of
Brooklyn and Queens, will seek
better understanding between
Catholics and Jews.
Msgr. Geneva said that "ac-
curate knowledge of one another
is the first step toward mutual
understanding." Rabbi Mowshowitz
said the new group would avoid
