The Israel Prime Minister's
Medal was designed and struck

by the Government of Israel in
behalf of Prime Minister Eshkol.
The obverse of the medal bears
the Hebrew phrase for "State of
Israel Bonds." The highly stylized
lettering rises from below in the
form of a sunburst to represent
a source of energy to turn the huge
wheel of industry above. The re-
verse side bears the inscription:
For service in the cause of
Israel's development." Below the ;
inscription is Prime Minister Esh-
kol's signature in Hebrew, with his
name and title in English.
Praising the selection of Bor-
man for this community honor,
Fisher said the choice "reflects
the broad and profound impact
