Great Britain, visited the school during a brief stay in Detroit last

Yiddish on Campus to Get

NEW YORK — A series of
projects to further an interest in
Yiddish language, literature and
culture on the university campuses
is being undertaken jointly by the
Bnai Brith Hillel Foundations and •
the Farband Foundation.
Taking cognizance of the growing
interest that is being manifested
by students and faculty in many
universities in Yiddish, the Far-
band Foundation will make avail-
able outstanding poets. writers,
lecturers. dramatic artists and
scholars. who will be presented by
Hillel foundations on the campuses

libraries and music rooms will be
provided by the Farband Founda-
tion with basic works of Yiddish
literature, both in the original and
in English translations, and with
collections of records of Yiddish
