A Message from Morris Lieberman, Chairman

I congratulate and commend all our volunteers, committees and contribu-
tors who have made the Detroit Israel Histadrut Campaign a model for all
America. May this year's Campaign distinguish itself by adding another
chapter in Detroit's outstanding effort over the years to help the young
State of Israel defend itself against those seeking its total destruction, and
to help Israel in its struggle to solve the many crucial internal, social and
economic problems. All of us pledge ourselves to seek the fullfillment of
our great ideal—a strong, democratic state of Israel.
