shaften who attended a recent pre-campaign Histadrut breakfast
meeting pledged an average 25 per cent more than last year. Principal
speaker was Israel Stolarsky, associate director of the National

Brevities

The largest exhibition of the
work of Pablo Picasso ever pre-
sented in the Midwest will go on
public view here this December. It
will inaugurate an elegant new gal-
lery, LONDON ARTS — DETROIT,
now being completed on the third
floor of the Fisher Building. The
opening is scheduled for Dec, 13,
8 p.m. Included will be 25 major
Picasso drawings and more than
200 graphics.
