REMEMBER WHEN , Danc-

did together?

WHILE HAVING A drink re-
cently with Jack Rovin, at a hotel
cocktail lounge, Ernie Blauer
seemed to feel that the waiter pur-
posely ignored them after the first
round, and finally called him to
their table and bawled him out
for his poor service . . . As he
turned away, Jack said, "Never
reprimand a waiter. The owner,
yes; the manager, yes. Even the
matre d'. But a waiter is capable
of drastic reprisals. Only the other
day, as I was leaving the dining
room, I passed two waiters stand-
ing near the entrance. They were
staring hard at a sullen-looking
man lunching alone in a corner.
One waiter suddenly smiled and
nudged the other, "Well,' he said,
`he ate it.' "

`Three Suns' to Shine
at Cabaret La Boheme

The Three Suns, one of Amer-
ica's top singing groups, opens
Monday in the Cabaret La Boheme,
atop the Hotel Pontchartrain.
The trio has headlined the top
supper clubs and hotels through-
out America, Europe and Asia.
They recently returned from a
three-month tour of army bases for
the U.S, government and will pro-
vide the musical entertainment in
the La Boheme for the next seven
weeks.
