MIAMI BEACH — Sam Edel-
stein, owner-operator of Lido Spa,
has been invited by the Israel
government to help advise its so-
cial and economic development
board on a blueprint for the im-
provement of food standards and
physical training. He will also ad-
vise on the possibility of establish-
ing a spa industry in the temper-
ate climate.
He intends to travel next month
and at the same time visit some of
the famed spas in Europe.
Announcement of the invitation
was made at the official reopening
of Lido Spa attended by Mayor
Elliott Roosevelt of Miami Beach
and other civic and state officials.
Mayor Roosevelt selected the oc-
casion to announce "National
Health Appreciation Week".
