Israeli Art Teacher Chided
for Sending Students to
Missionaries for Books
JERUSALEM — A teacher at
the Bezalel Art School sent his
students to Christian missions for
free copies of the Gospel and
touched off a dispute in govern-
ment.
The teacher had assigned some
examination reading in the New
Testament and suggested they
could save money by getting the
books from the missionaries. The
Bezalel school encourages a knowl-
edge of the New Testament for an
appreciation of medieval art. A
student complained, and the
teacher was chided.
Earlier, the Knesset was told
that 1,300 missionaries in Israel
were stepping up their activities
in slum quarters as unemployment
grows. A parliamentary committee
was instructed to take up the mat-
ter.
Besides, the Bezalel library will
get some copies of the New Testa-
ment so its students won't have
to go to missionaries.
PLO Asks Jordan to Move
Its Capital to Jerusalem
CAIRO (UPI) — The Palestine
Liberation Organization suggested
to Jordan that it move its capital
from Amman to Jerusalem to
counter Israel's moving its Knes-
set to Jerusalem. Jordan rejected
the proposal.
Shrinks Hemorrhoids
Without Surgery
Stops Itch—Relieves Pain
For the first time science has found
a new healing substance with the as-
tonishing ability to shrink hemor-
rhoids and to relieve pain — without
surgery. In case after case, while
gently relieving pain, actual reduc-
tion (shrinkage) took place. Most
amazing of all — results were so thor-
ough that sufferers made astonishing
statements like "Piles have ceased to
be a problem!" The secret is a new
healing substance (Bio-Dyne@)— dis-
covery of a world-famous research
institute. This substance is now avail-
able in suppository or ointinen t form
called Prepetration HS. At all drug
counters.
