Funds for the Center chapel were made available from several of the, senior adult groups, families who made contributions in memory of senior adults, several individual gifts and a special grant from the Jewish Welfare Federation. Mrs. Aaron DeRoy, life member of the board of directors, commissioned Naren- dra M. Patel, well-known Indian sculptor, to design the plaque, which inscribed in both Hebrew and English reads "This chapel is dedicated 'to the memory of thee six million Jewish victims of Nazi annihilation. 1966." Other bands sche- duled to perform during the four- day show include the Franklin Hills Band, the Birmingham Senior Men's Band and the Birmingham Senior Men's Band and the Birm- ingham Bloomfield Bank Marching Band. Another feature of the auto show will be a "combo clash"—a compe- tition among local student musical groups—which will be held each evening culminating in a grand finale on Oct. 15.
