As the dawn of Sept. 7 rose, so did 1,477 students who entered Oak Park High School for the new 1966-67 term Wednesday morning saw Dr. Lloyd E. Peterman keynote an assembly which outlined the "new and old" administrative rules at Oak Park High. The most basic administrative change was the for- mation of a new post of assistant principal. Robert Schramke will be in charge of attendance, discipline, building management, and the parking lot. This year only juniors and seniors will be allowed to drive to school, and all cars must be registered with the school and have a permit and sticker for the car. There will be a charge for the sticker. Ray Renbarger, last year's as- sistant principal, will return in a new role. He will take charge of counseling, student activities, scheduling and business manage- ment. Steve Rubin, editor of Revoir, will have a general call for all people interested on working on the staff of this year's yearbook. For students who are interested and have a seventh-hour dismissal, there will be a workshop for the Revoir in room A-125. Friday, September 16, 1966-27 Israeli Pilot Hero Says 'Syrians Fear Us' TEL AVIV (ZINS) — The after- noon paper Ma'ariv carries an ex- clusive interview with the Israeli pilot who downed the Syrian IvIIG over Lake Kinneret during the re- cent Israel-Syrian clash. The Israeli was asked to rate the fighting capacity of the enemy.
