The bride chose a sheath of peau de sole with imported Alencon lace and pearls embroidered on the gown and the shoulder train. Her headdress of lace and pearls was attached to a shoulder-Length veil, and she carried her Bible with Phalaeneopsis orchids and Stepha- notis. Diane Yura served her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Karen Rutzky of Chicago, Morleen Getz of Ann Arbor, Sharon Glick- man, the bridegroom's sister, Peg- gy Friedman and Joan Carnick. The best man was Norman Glick- man of Denver, brother of the bridegroom. NY Hebrew Day Schools to Take Record Number NEW YORK (JTA) — Hebrew day schools in the Greater New York metropolitan area expect a total enrollment of 47,100 pupils during the school year beginning Wednesday, representing a 5 per cent increase over last year's en- rollment, it was announced by Dr. Joseph Kaminetsky, director of Torah Umesorah, the National So- ciety of Hebrew Day Schools. Four new Hebrew day schools were established during the past summer, bringing the total num- ber of day schools in the area to 153, of which 109 are elementary schools and 44 at the high school level. The Hebrew day schools at the high school level are expected to show the greatest proportional in- crease in enrollment, with 1,000 new pupils for a record total of 10,100 pupils, Dr. Kaminetsky said.
