Project Find, is a program de-
signed to both aid and entertain
the senior citizens of this area.
Conducted by the Oakland Coun-
ty Office of Economic Opportunity,
the program will serve six neigh-
borhoods under the directorship of
Jack Markowitz.
In addition to providing escort
services, home visits and emer-
gency food preparation for the
aged, the programmers plan to
establish recreation centers where
elderly people can meet, play
cards, talk and watch television.
"The object," says Markowitz,
"is to get these people out of their
lonely houses and apartments, for
an hour or a day, and into the
company of people their own age."
The services provided will be
staffed by senior citizens.
For information concerning the
program contact Markowitz at 543-
