10—ROOMS FOR RENT

For at least a week, Danny is
gathering public relations material
first hand at Sinai Hospital. We
all know that things will be on an
even keel for Danny real quick
since his nature is so genial and
his recuperative power so great!
Lou and Rose Rosenfeld cele-
brated their 25th anniversary last
week together with their son
Henry, daughter Susan, and many
friends and relatives. Henry said
he would have been at least three
years older if dad hadn't been
with the infantry in Europe du•-
ing World War
Manny Chudnow and Shel Korn
almost made a highway dedicated
to themselves. While playing golf
at the Pontiac course they hit so
many balls over the fence on the
last hole that it took ten minutes
to recover them from their car,
while driving down the road.
Manny kept score with one of his
well maintained calculators!
Morris Rosin, who during the
war was stationed in Hawaii as a
comouflage expert, spent much
time studying and painting. His
beautiful paintings, wood carvings
and etchings were put aside for
some years while he devoted his
time to other endeavors. He re-
cently warmed his hands up again
and presented an entrancing still
life to Fredell Whiteman as a gift
for her new house. His method of
applying paint to canvas compels
the viewer to look again and again,
seeing new facets everytime.
Ernie and Shirley Whiteman,
former Detroiters, now living in
Toledo, have a real patriotic fam-
ily. Ernie, himself, is a veteran.
Son Dennis, is stationed with an
engineer outfit at Fort Knox; son
Ronnie is enlisting in the air
force; and son Jerry is doing can-
cer research for the government.
Nephew Frank Feiler will termi-
nate a hitch with the Army from
Formosa and nephew Mike Reiha
enlisted in the Navy.

Tikva Haggai, a sociological psy-
chologist with the state of Michi-
gan, will shortly fly to Israel to
visit her brother Yirmiyahu, a
member of Kibbutz Ein Hashophet,
who is now in Tel Aviv studying
labor relations and writing articles
for publications.
