Mrs. David W. Sklash of Mar Haroe, Israel, is visiting in the
United States for a short time, stopping first in St. Louis for the Bar
Mitzvah Saturday of her nephew, Joel Loewenberg, son of Dr. and
Mrs. Frank Loewenberg, and then coming to Detroit for 10 days. She
will be staying at the home of her brother, Seymour Subar, 24040
Rockingham, Southfield.
Miss Beverly Fradis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Fradis of
Monica Ave., is taking courses at. the University of Madrid while on

Sandra Schlussel -became the
bride of Michael Cherrin in an
evening ceremony at Adas Shalom
Synagogue.
Rabbis Jacob Segal and Israel
Halpern 'officiated. Parents of the
couple are Mr. and Mrs. Albert
Schlussel, 19210 Monica, and Mrs.
Molly Cherrin, 19916 Roslyn, and
the late Sam Cherrin.
The bride wore an A-line Alen-
con lace gown with a two-tiered
skirt and funnel capelet sleeves,
with a removable train of peau de
soie. She wore a cathedral-length
veil. She carried a Bible covered
with roses and lilies of the valley.
Mrs. Marvin Cherrin was ma-
tron of honor. Mrs. Michael Li-
mond, Mrs. Mack Schlussel, Sandi
Alpert and Anita Katz were
bridesmaids. Junior bridesmaids
were Debbie Edelman and
Sharon Edelman.
Marvin Cherrin, brother of the
bridegroom, was best man. Joel
Serlin, Mervin Cherrin, Sam Bern-
stein, Mark Schlussel, Ulf Winitsky
and Dr. Herschel Schlussel were
ushers.
After a honeymoon trip to Mex-
ico, the couple will reside at 25611
Greenfield, Southfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Meyer and family. 29121 Fairfax, Southfield,
just returned from a month's visit in Israel. The first week was
spent at Rivka and Rachel Kuckowicz's home where Rosalyn Meyer
and her children, Marlene and Barry, met their mother-in-law and
grandmother, respectively, for the first time. They were also intro-
duced to many friends and relatives throughout the week. A tour of
Israel was taken by the Meyer family for the following three weeks.
Mr. Earl Davidson of Hartwell Ave., was honored on the occasion
of his birthday July 3, at a swim and cocktail party given at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bienstock on Southwood Dr., Southfield. Following
the party, Mr. and Mrs. Davidson entertained the guests at a dinner
party at their home.
A surprise 25th wedding anniversary party was held July 6 for
Mr. and Mrs. Irving Field by Mr. and Mrs. Elliott Field at their home
at 25134 Pierce, Southfield. Among the honored guests were Mr. Field's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Field and his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs.
Walter Field.

A traveling exhibit of sculpture,
mosaics, oil painting and bas-
reliefs with Jewish themes, which
are an integral part of Jewish
Community Centers, has been as-
sembled by the National Jewish
Welfare Board as a project in cele-
bration of JWB's golden jubilee.
Reflecting the increasing role of
Jewish Community Centers affili-
ated with JWB as a cultural arm of
the American Jewish community,
the exhibit will be ready for cir-
culation Sept. 30.
