Division Workers Get Awards

Community Service Awards for
"distinguished service and dedicat-
ed effort for Jewish causes at
home and abroad" were presented
Sunday to workers of the metro-
politan division of the 1966 Allied
Jewish Campaign.
At a breakfast meeting at the
Jewish Center the volunteers heard
Alfred W. Keats, division Chair-
man, report success in efforts of
the division to reach 100 per cent
of its 1965 campaign totals. The
division solicits almost 2,000 indi-
vidual contributions and treasury
gifts from organizations. Its volun-
teer workers are recruited from
Bnai Brith, United Hebrew Schools,
Jewish War Veterans, Workmen's
Circle, Detroit Socialites, Labor
Zionist Organization, Congrega-
tion Gemiluth Chassodim and in-
terested individuals.
